Some 42 Bass Pro Shops, including the one at the Savannah Mall, will make a special presentation through an unprecedented agreement with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
It will be the first time that the initial sales have been held outside of Washington, D.C.
The stamps will go on sale beginning at 10 a.m.
A special ceremony is planned for the sale at all locations; in Savannah it will include such dignitaries as Savannah Mayor Otis Johnson, state representative Bob Lane, George Erwin, chairman of Georgia's Ducks Unlimited, Savannah postmaster Linda Shall and Amy Ochoa, a U.S. Fish and Wildlife ranger with the Savannah National Wildlife Refuge Complex.
